This retreat is for those of us who have ‘foot in mouth’ moments. Those moments where we either over-compensate, over-think, or over-react. These moments can often spiral us out of kilter with our own values, faith, worth, meaning and purpose.
Our awkward moments do not define us. This retreat will gently guide you to apply God’s grace and mercy to your most awkward moments of life.
Be Where Your Feet Are
Be where your feet are!
I can think of no better way to describe the journey of being present in the moment, than in this simple phrase. This retreat provides greater awareness of the indwelling presence of God. For this retreat I encourage you to go for a walk. Go bush, as we say in Australia.
“All great spirituality is about letting go.” Richard Rohr
Where do you need Christ’s spirit of detachment in your life? ‘Not my will, but yours Lord.’
This guided retreat offers a scaffold of questions, stories, poems and scriptures to gently help you let go of some of your blockers to a deeper walk with God.
How big is your God?
Explore with God how you can balance the stillness required to build your relationship with God and the ministry of service to others from the overflow of your living faith.
What do you need God to do for you in your current season of life?
In this retreat you will be asking God for clarity to see what He has already done, and for courage to partner with Him in what He is doing in this current season of your life.
Stepping to the Beat
Imagine the scene; you are being invited by the God of this universe to dance. It may be a slow waltz, a fox trot or a playful barn dance.
The beat is clear and strong. Your partner is an expert. His eyes shine with delight as you reach out to accept his gentle invitation. This retreat will pose questions to inspire you to be ready, willing and able to step to the beat.
